Visiting this website

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request data, including your IP address and information about traffic to and from the website. This supports delivery, availability and network security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cloudflare operates an international network and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Its data processing addendum describes the applicable transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. Further information is available in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Cookies and external content

This website has no advertising or analytics scripts, contact forms, comments or externally hosted fonts. Any cookies required by Cloudflare’s security services serve technical security purposes.

Optional Instagram previews

The Instagram spots guides include links to Instagram posts and optional previews. A preview connects to Instagram only after you select “Agree and load preview”. Your browser then sends request data, including your IP address, to Instagram, a Meta service. Meta may use cookies and associate the request with an Instagram account if you are signed in.

You can read the guides and use their map links without loading previews. Each preview requires a separate choice. Selecting “Close preview” removes that preview and stops further requests from its frame; it cannot undo data already transmitted or remove cookies set by Instagram. Collapsing a group of Instagram examples also removes its loaded previews. Reloading the page resets all previews. Read Meta’s privacy policy for its processing and international transfer information.

Google Maps links open Google’s website when you follow them. Maps are not embedded on this website.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address, message and any information you provide to respond to your request. Our email service is Google Workspace. Depending on the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps relating to a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Messages are retained for as long as the enquiry requires, or for any applicable legal retention period. Google may process service data internationally. See Google’s cloud privacy notice for information about service data, and its data processing addendum for customer data such as message content.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data, and data portability where its conditions are met. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the address above to exercise these rights.
